Ethiopia's Travel & Tourism economy grew by 48.6% in 2018, the largest of any country in the world, contributing $7.4Billion to the country's economy according to the World Travel & Tourism Council's (WTTC) annual review of the sector. Tourism Ethiopia's Chief Executive officer Lensa Mekonnen told the SABC, just over 900,000 tourists visited country in 2018 a 10 to 20% increase from the previous year. The country is now leveraging on reforms in its visa regime to attract more visitors. Sarah Kimani reports.
