War in Ethiopia?

My tourist visa was approved, so I went to check it out.

Western media makes it seem the civil war is raging through the country and the Capitol of Addis Ababa is under siege.

But upon landing I discovered things are not as the media makes them appear. Apart from the increased military and police presence and the empty flight into the country, people are still out living! Businesses are wide open! Bars, Clubs, everything!

Yes you meet people in the city with opinions on the Tigray conflict. But it doesn’t feel that way.
